Will I have to pay interest every month?
That depends on how much you owe at the end of each month. You can get up to 56 days interest free credit on purchases if you do choose to pay off your balance in full. Our cardholders can also benefit from a Balance Transfers rate of 0% per annum fixed for 9 months from the date of account opening (a 2% fee applies, minimum £5). For Purchases and Balance Transfers the rate is 1.313% to 1.527% per month variable. Typical 16.9% APR variable.

What's the best way to apply? Applying online is the quickest and easiest way. You can do it here and now whatever the time of day or night. However, if you would like to apply over the phone, or receive a paper application form then contact us on 0800 161 162. back to top
Need help applying online? We all know that from time to time the internet can be complex and strange messages may appear on your screen. We have done everything we possibly can to ensure that our website is presented to you in a simple and easy to use fashion. Occasionally, you may experience the odd problem. If, for example, you are presented with a blank screen, or a screen that appears to be missing some graphics or words, this may be because what we're sending to your PC has not arrived properly. Don't worry about this - any information you have already supplied to us will have been encrypted and therefore no one else can intercept it. What happens from the moment that I apply online?
- You will receive an online decision within 60 seconds of submitting your application.
- Once accepted, written confirmation will be on its way to you through the post within the next few days. When you get this please sign and return it.
- We'll then order your card and set up your account.
- Your card will arrive along with your user guide, credit limit and terms and conditions.
- Finally you will receive your PIN which will allow you to withdraw cash from ATMs all over the world.

When can I apply online? You can apply for your Card online, any time of the day or night. However, we do have to shut down part of our systems once a week for maintenance, but we've tried to keep this to off peak times. Even when this does happen we can still take your application, and we'll get back to you with a decision as soon as our systems are available again. back to top
Is applying online safe and secure? Yes. All online applications are encrypted using the latest 128-bit encryption technology provided your browser supports it. All version 4 or later browsers support 128-bit encryption. That means all your personal details are fully encoded. You can rest assured that everything on your application is confidential and cannot be intercepted and read by unauthorised people. back to top
When will I receive my card? Within 10 days of us receiving your signed Credit Agreement. back to top
Can I still apply if I live overseas? The RSPCA Platinum MasterCard is only available to residents of the UK excluding the Channel Islands. At this time we do not have any plans to offer MasterCards outside of these areas. back to top
Can I request a specific credit limit? We will automatically set a credit limit for your account and this will be advised to you when we send you your card. We will endeavour to match any existing credit limit that you have on other cards. The maximum credit limit is subject to status. If you would like us to consider this, please send us a copy of your existing card statement when you return the signed Agreement to us. back to top
Can I transfer balances from other cards I hold? You can easily transfer balances from your other credit cards by calling our Balance Transfer Team on 0870 333 0089 once you have received your card. A 2% fee applies (minimum £5). The balance transfer offer does not apply to balances transferred from credit and store cards issued by members of the HSBC Group. HSBC Group means HSBC Holdings plc, its subsidiaries, associated and affiliated companies and includes first direct.

Will I get the Typical APR A Typical APR is the rate we expect to be able to offer to the majority of borrowers. The interest rates and APRs we charge on the Beneficial RSPCA account will depend on our assessment of your circumstances and on your conduct of the account from time to time.
